Lehi, Utah

Since I posted yesterday about a city that I grew up in, I only thought it fitting to post about another city that I grew up in and helped shape me - Lehi, Utah.

Not only did I grow up here, but my dad grew up here as well. My grandparents have a house right in front of the high school.

It started out as a pretty small town and stayed that way for as long as my parents could remember. Only recently has that changed. It's now the fastest growing city in the state of Utah.

That's most likely due to the "Silicon Slopes" in the Northern-most part of the city at the point of the mountain.

This area is full of large companies - especially tech-related companies. It's a very popular place to set up business. Companies such as Adobe have large headquarter buildings here.

Other parts of Lehi offer a little more charm - such as the area close to my parent's current house. There's a field located near the freeway that has several cows. And as you can see in the picture below, it makes for some picturesque surroundings in the evenings.

Lehi nowadays has plenty of charm on the outskirts and in the main part of city, but it's also a bustling, growing city that's very attractive to businesses.

I only ever actually lived here for two years growing up before heading to college, but I loved my time living in this not-so-little-anymore city.
